Against hunger and malnutrition, a climate friendly, plant-based solution
(towards the abolition of factory farming)

How to feed the world now, with more than one billion people going hungry and many more going malnourished? Also, how to feed the world in the future, with a growing population, with much more pressure on already scarce agricultural and natural resources such as land, water, energy, and where the impacts of climate change will affect the most food insecure areas of the world? Finally, how to feed the world and help saving the climate justice?

How to feed ALL, is also a matter of food patterns. It is well known that the unsustainable forms of animal production are part of the hunger and climate problem and should be phased out. It is well known but the business-as-usual goes on.

At the same time, our work experience is that a number of plant-based, highly nutritious, small scale solutions to world hunger could successfully be adopted at all levels.

This is our Coalition's proposal to governments of the North and the South, UN bodies, farmers organisations, civil society, movements, individuals.
