The very recent report: "Agriculture and climate change: real problems, false solutions" by various authors/activists looks at current carbon trading proposals for agriculture, especially soils. Among other things, the report criticizes also the claims that intensifying industrial livestock production could be a way to address its emissions, while it is clear that rapidly reducing intensive production and consumption would have immediate climate benefits.
